Janet Jackson’s “Unbreakable” world tour is on hold so the singer can have surgery.
The five-time Grammy Award winner made the announcement on Facebook on Thursday night.
“I need you to know, I learned today, from my doctors that I must have surgery soon,” Jackson said. “It breaks my heart to tell you that I am forced to postpone the Unbreakable Tour until the spring.”
Jackson said every date would be rescheduled and told fans to hold on to their tickets. She didn’t disclose what type of surgery she was having.
Jackson, 49, has sold 160 million records worldwide, but has not been in the spotlight much in recent years.
