Minimum Qualifications
1. Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced and confidential environment. 2. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to a diverse array of internal and external students, staff and faculty. 3. Considerable experience and knowledge of office practices and procedures. 4. Ability to establish and maintain positive professional relationships with stakeholders at all levels within the university. 5. Skill in using computerized applications for word processing, spreadsheets and databases. 6. Considerable administrative experience directly supporting senior level members of an organization, with duties that include task coordination, event planning, and/or community outreach activities. 7. Ability to accurately take copious notes and properly edit, review and publish for professional dissemination to senior and executive staff and faculty. 8. Demonstrated ability to monitor projects and meet and prioritize competing deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
1. BachelorĂ¢??s degree from an accredited institution, or equivalent combination of education and training that provides the requisite knowledge, skill, and abilities. 2. Experience in a higher education setting in an office administrative capacity. 3. Expert level skill in the use of Microsoft Office: Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook; experience in the use of Adobe Acrobat. 4. Previous experience managing small to medium budgets.
