Vigilante “BooPac Shakar” Killed Trying To Catch A Child Predator
A vigilante pedophile hunter nicknamed “Boopac Shakur” was shot and killed in Michigan over the weekend after confronting a person he accused of being a predator.
Robert Wayne Lee, 40, posted to his tens of thousands of followers under the moniker on social media. He’d pose as a teenage girl on the internet to lure and expose suspected predators, according to the Oakland County Sheriff’s Office.
He confronted two individuals — one 17 years old, the other 18 — at a restaurant in Pontiac, outside Detroit, on Friday night around 10:30 p.m. He accused the 18-year-old of being a pedophile and punched the person. The situation “rapidly escalated” as the 18-year-old pulled out a knife before the other individual allegedly shot Lee several times, according to Fox 2 Detroit.
Lee was taken to a hospital, where he died.
