MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Graduate of an accredited four (4) year college or university with major course work in criminology, psychology, sociology or a related field and have a minimum of one (1) year investigative, criminal justice, social service or related work experience*.

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to secure a valid Florida driver’s license at the time of employment.

A comparable amount of related training and experience may be substituted for the minimum qualifications.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:

Must have own daily transportation and have a home telephone as employee is subject to call.

*College graduates with less than one year experience may be considered for a County Probation Officer Trainee position
